1. Read Aloud: Subjects & Predicates

اِقْرَأِ الْجُمَلَ الْآتِيَةَ مَعَ ضَبْطِ أَوَاخِرِهَا:

Subjects (with "AL") get a single Dammah. Predicates (without "AL") get Tanween Dammah!

اَلْكِتَابُ جَدِيدٌ

اَلْبَيْتُ صَغِيرٌ

اَلْمُعَلِّمُ وَاقِفٌ

اَلْبَابُ مَفْتُوحٌ

اَلْوَلَدُ جَالِسٌ

اَلْمَسْجِدُ بَعِيدٌ

اَلْقَلَمُ مَكْسُورٌ

اَلرَّجُلُ قَدِيمٌ

2. Supply the Correct Marfoo' Vowel

ضَعِ الْحَرَكَةَ الْمُنَاسِبَةَ (ـُ / ـٌ) فِي الْفَرَاغِ:

Rule Reminder: Look at the beginning of the word!
If it starts with AL- (اَلْـ) = Give it a single Dammah (ـُ).
If it does NOT have AL- = Give it Tanween Dammah (ـٌ).
